Sorry it’s been a while since the last update. We’ve been working furiously on playtesting the core rules. We just revised our rulebook, and it’s available for download here.
There are a few minor tweaks, but the two most significant changes are refocusing the game from 2-4 players to specifically 2 players. We’re doing this for a variety of reasons, but the main reason is to improve the overall game experience. We plan to take a look at rules for adding additional players at a later time, but for now, we’re limiting the game to 2 players.
Second, we’ve significantly reduced the impact of facing. Previously facing was involved in close combat and ranged combat attacks as well as defense bonuses for attacking characters from the rear. Now we’ve stripped it down so that facing only affects ranged combat attacks.
Although we’ve made these changes, they’re still negotiable during the playtest. So if you don’t like these changes let us know.Share on Facebook
